InSilicon Valley, we hosted all of our FinTech startups for our Founder’s Week. The four-day event culminated in our FinTech Demo Day, which was attended by angels, VCs, and professionals across the FinTech industry. We loved seeing everyone working together and learning from each other as the week progressed. See our post covering the week here!

Pleno, a novel CMOS-based Active-Matrix Digital Micro-Fluidic chip which integrates multi-omic sample-prep and detection on a single reconfigurable device.
RetMap, Inc, a medical device company providing innovative diagnostic solutions for ophthalmic care.
SatelIot, the first satellite telecom operator for global continuous IoT connectivity merging satellite and terrestrial networks under 5G protocol.

FarmTogether partnered with Carbon by Indigo to drive on-farm climate action. The collaboration will advance farmland as a meaningful climate solution while opening a new income stream for farmland and farmland investors.
Advanced Image Robotics successfully debuted their camera-to-cloud AIR One remote video production system at the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival.
Propel(x) CEO, Swati Chaturvedi, was named by the San Francisco Business Times as a top 100 Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business.
Skeyeon, the creator of a Near Earth Orbiter satellite that enables high-resolution while remaining low-profile and cost-effective, was featured on the cover of Space News.
QuSecure was named by CB Insights as one of the top 28 cybersecurity firms of 2021.
These companies currently in the EvoNexus incubators successfully closed their funding rounds this past quarter:
QuSecure, a patented suite of software based post-quantum cybersecurity products, triple oversubscribed a $1.5 million round on a $24 million pre-money-cap.
GoX Labs, a developer of wearable sensors for workforce injury predictive analytics and risk management, raised $1.5 million.
RetMap, Inc secured $1 million in an oversubscribed seed round.
Noonum, a SaaS FinTech company which empowers investors to build and monitor custom portfolios for themes and trends, finalized a partnership with the Credem Group in Italy. The agreement entails an equity investment from their Corporate Venture Fund alongside the opportunity to leverage the technology within the asset and wealth management groups of the Italian Bank.
Neutroon, a Network-as-a-Service platform that allows clients to deploy advanced private networks in minutes and at a lower cost, secured $650,000 led by 5G Ventures with strategic investors Ferrovial and SharedAccess.
Open Sesame secured a $75,000 SAFE from Emerging Ventures.
After leaving the Evonexus nest, many of our alumni companies go onto great success:
InBrace, an orthodontics company whose Smartwire invisible braces technology is hidden behind a patient’s teeth, raised a $102 million Series D led by Farallon Capital Management and Marshall Wace. MVM Partners, Soleus Capital, Endeavour Vision, Vivo Capital, Novo Holdings, venBio, BlackRock and RTW Investments also participated in the round.
SOCi, a provider of a localized marketing platform built for multi-location marketers, acquired Brandify, a provider of location-based digital marketing solutions.
GigaIO, a rack-scale composable infrastructure solution that delivers the unlimited flexibility and agility of the cloud at a fraction of the cost, raised a $14.7 million Series B, led by Impact Venture Capital.
The aprevo, a personalized spinal fusion device created by Carlsmed, won the prestigious Spine Technology Award. Presented by Orthopedics This Week at the North American Spine Society (NASS) meeting, the award is given to exemplary and innovative spine surgery products that improve spine care.
